Hillfields Animal Sanctuary’s Spring Open Day (30.03.08)

In the methodist hall stalls from the likes of the Vegan Society, Dr Hadwen Trust and Redditch Veggies & Vegans were set up with many items for sale...

'This tiny box is typical of the life-long home provided for mice in British laboratories.

Guidelines permit a box of this size to be used for up to six mice.'

After checking out the stalls we went over to see the animals that Hillfields looks after.

The newest resident is Lenny the lamb, less than 2 months old and supercute x 10.
